Leonard Fox

Located in Fairfield County, Leonard Fox Ltd. is a distinguished purveyor of fine arts and rare books. The gallery has been featured in The New York Times, W Magazine, Traditional Home Magazine, and Antiques & Fine Art, and for over 35 years has remained one of the premier specialists in 20th century illustrated books, including works by Surrealist, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and Modern and Contemporary artists.

Leonard Fox became one of the first American art dealers to specialize in French Art Deco illustrated books and prints with a focus on textile design and fashion portfolios. At the time, many of these artists and their works were largely forgotten. Over the years, Mr. Fox helped to renew an interest in them by assisting with acquisitions and development for many national and international institutions as well as private collections. With four exhibitions annually, the gallery presents all original illustrated works on paper, books, paintings, and photography.

Leonard Fox Ltd. is a member of ABAA, ILAB, Art Deco Society of New York (member and historian), Art Deco Society of Miami, and the International Art Deco Society.
